Dear Valued Patient:
Our mission at Cochlear is to help people hear and be heard and it’s what we strive to do each day. With this in mind, we thank you for working with us to ensure that we can do this safely.
The following steps are in place currently:
The clinic doors will be locked. Please knock at the time of your appointment and a staff member will let you in the door.
Face masks will be required for all staff and patients during the visit. We ask that patients bring their own masks and ensure a mask is worn for the duration of their visit. We cannot see you for an appointment if you do not wear a mask.
To ensure safe social distancing, only the recipient will be permitted to enter the office – please refrain from bringing anyone with you. If you need a caregiver to drive you, they will be asked to wait outside. One parent/guardian can accompany our pediatric recipients. Note: We will make considerations for our special need’s patients.
Staff will be utilizing gloves at all times.
Temperature checks will be taken daily for all staff; all patients will be required to have their temperature checked prior to their visit.
Scheduling of patients will be done in such a way as to ensure minimum contact with others (i.e., staggering of patient times).
Walk-in appointments will not be offered at this time.
